The Portrait Lab offers professional quality silver halide printing from wallet size up to 10x15. Our silver halide prints are printed on one of our 3 Fuji Frontier Digital Labs using Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper. The archival quality of our photo paper is approx 100 years.
Prepare your files at a resolution of 300dpi at the desired print size; PC platform; RGB color; JPEG only. The Frontier is designed to print on cut sheets of paper in standard photofinishing print sizes and sizes proportional to digital camera format. Please indicate your choice among our available sizes and be sure your files are proportional to the print size requested. Files that are not formatted to fit our paper sizes are charged a $2.00 per file setup fee and placed on a properly formatted white background. This will result in a full-frame print with white borders on 2 sides. Digital camera files straight from the camera can be printed reliably without preflighting as long as they have not been modified in any way. Modified digital camera files can frequently be unprintable without lab intervention and set-up fees due to incompatible formatting. File names must conform to windows naming conventions and have the correct 3-character extension. We cannot guarantee perfectly neutral greyscale prints and variations in the tone are to be expected. If you are designing a layout, significant components of the image should not be close to the edge. We recommended a minimum of 36 pixels space from image edge to allow for overspill and no hairline borders.
Professional color negative and digital files printing services on your choice of glossy, matte, or metallic paper. Our prints are inspected one-by-one and optimized when our experienced technicians know that their color and exposure judgment is better than the machine's pre-programmed setting. Prints from DX coded 35mm film are imprinted on the back with the Date and Negative number; we can also customize your back-print with your company name and copyright.
